Mother Minita lay in bed, her body exhausted from the long day of work. Her children and sisters-in-law had been taking care of her lately, trying to help out as much as they could. As she lay there, she heard a soft rustling sound coming from the hallway. Curious, she sat up in bed and called out, "Who's there?" A small voice responded, "It's me, Mommy! I made you some tea." Her youngest daughter, Mina, came into the room carrying a tray with a steaming cup of herbal tea and a plate of freshly baked cookies. Mother Minita smiled warmly at her daughter. "Thank you, sweetheart," she said gratefully as Mina handed her the tray and helped her sit up against the headboard. Just then, another pair of footsteps could be heard approaching. Her eldest son, David, entered the room with a bowl full of steaming hot soup. "Mom, I made you your favorite," he said proudly as he handed over the bowl. Mother Minita's heart swelled with love for her children and their willingness to help care for her. She took a sip of the tea and a bite of the soup, savoring each flavor and appreciating the effort that went into preparing them. As she ate, her other daughter, Lily, came in to give her a gentle back rub, massaging away any knots or tension in her shoulders. Mother Minita sighed contentedly, feeling grateful for this little moment of pampering. Just when she thought it couldn't get any better, her sister-in-law, Aunt Tina, walked into the room with a tray full of fresh fruit and a cold compress for her forehead. "I figured you could use some refreshment," she said with a smile as she set down the tray. Mother Minita was overwhelmed by all of the love and care being shown to her. She knew that this was just one small moment in time, but it filled her heart with joy and reminded her how lucky she was to have such a loving family.
